On June 12, 2016 a gunman took 49 lives of LGBTQIA2S+ patrons of the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida. The club was packed with over 320 patrons for “Latin Night.” The gunman held the police in a 3 hour standoff, and was eventually killed.
Solano Serenity Center holds an annual vigil/celebration of life for those that were killed that day and those that subsequently have died since. Our celebration is held on the closest Saturday to the 12th of the month.
